My daughter and I went for a nice little cruise today in the Challenger. My youngest daughter was taking a nap so she stayed home with my wife while we went out. Went for a short little cruise and then stopped to get groceries on the way back. Before we left she kept saying, "We go in Daddy's Dodge! We go fast Daddy!" Haha!

I just bought the new AC/DC album Rock or Bust so we were playing that. She liked one song in particular so we kept playing that one over and over (Baptism by Fire). We had a lot of fun and I know I'm doing a good job of warping her when she wants to go fast in Daddy's Dodge and loves listening to AC/DC!

Anyone else have some good pics of their kids in the back of their Challenger?

That is a great photo!!! She is a keeper!! Why doesn't it surprise me that you bought the new AC/DC album??? Btw, why do they still call them albums??? Or is it just us doing that?

We don't have any grand kids yet and we would have some pic's of our two son's in the car, but at 18 and 6' 1'' and at 20 and 6' 3", they complain and have an issue with riding in the back seat, they say something about their knee's being up around their chin. I have told them they could always ride in the trunk!

It's memories like this that make a car a collector!!! Enjoy the Journey! Lou.

Haha you're right Betty, they're not really albums anymore, I just use that term still haha! Nowadays there are fewer and fewer CD's at stores it seems, more people are downloading songs these days.

Thanks! I hope they enjoy cars as much as I do when they grow up. They are definitely a lot of fun at their current age, but a lot of work too haha!

Very cool Carl !! I think several years down the road when she's ready to drive and in the driver's seat, take another picture and then pull out this one to compare. She'll get a kick out of it for sure.

Back in the day... I had a Porsche Boxster (I know, I know) and my youngest would sit in her booster seat (special Porsche seat that shut off the airbag) and head bang to black dog. You had to see her at three throwing her head up and down and we HAD to have the top down, even in the cold weather. People in other cars would get a kick out of it. I can still see it 15 years later.

That's a good idea! I have some pics of her as a baby in her high chair outside with me in the yard while I was waxing it haha! I'd bring her out there with some toys so I could clean the car up and hang out with her. It'll be neat to see her in the driver's seat one day.

That's pretty cool! Always fun to include the kids in on the car stuff!

Thanks Susie! I try to be a cool dad like my dad was with me. I've got tons of great memories hanging out with my dad doing car stuff, hope I can do the same for my girls too.

Great memories!

My Daughter always wanted to help wash the car. She had her own little pink sponge. The trouble was she only wanted to wash the driver's side rear fender, over and over and over! haha
It was fun. But, when she decided she was finished, she'd toss the sponge on the ground and say, "ALL DONE!"
She's an educator now and NEVER washes her car. Go figure.
Keep on CHALLENGING!
