Diablo T2 - 180 degree Thermostat Fan Settings not displaying/ available

New to the scene and have a 2017 Challenger T/A 392 6.4L. I just installed a 180 degree thermostat and went to modify the Fan Settings and from what I've read, there should be 9 or so settings to change AC On / AC Off, HS, LS, MS, etc... I only get one field to enter a value "ECT Cold Start" on all tunes that I try to modify, including the Stock Tune. Am I not looking in the right place? Does my car just not have those settings? The car seems to run cooler, but would like to maximize the thermostat by lowering the fan settings. I've logged a ticket with Holley, but would appreciate any help.

Did you go into advance tune... That should be where it's at I think without having my tuner connected...

Sadly everyone believes the 180's are a huge HP trick its not. You can loose fuel mileage and cause issues running below a oem specified range. These modern cars run hotter then the old Non Computer Controlled cars and once the Therm is Open the engine will still get to the same temp once its opened. When you open the cooling system you also risk getting air trapped in the Cooling System and the car will potentially over heat. No one absolutely no one has posted fact of Horsepower gains so id do that with caution. While people manage to get it to work with lower temp and proper PCM mods and because of your year the PCM will need to be unlocked before a Tune will work.

Hey man, thanks so much for the suggestion... I dont see anything that says advance tune. I see Modify Stock Tune, and I know that which each tune (Diablo Tune or Jammer CAI Tune, etc...) it asks you whether you want to install the tune "As Is" or customize settings. I tried that on each tune, and although I do see a Fan Settings parameter that can be changed, it only shows that one parameter "ECT Fan Temp Cold Start." Really appreciate it though... Thanks for your help!
Yeah... Left my device (T-2) at a friend's house out of town so I can't look at it plugged in... Holly was very helpful with mine when I had problems a little while back... Hopefully they'll get yours back on track... 👍

Hey thanks for the info.. Yeah I am using an unlocked PCM and Diablosport Tuner that I got from HHP.. My plan is to use the thermostat as part of a collection of mods that will hopefully all work nicely together (throttle body, cam, headers, etc..) basically full bolt-on stuff... Seems like there's a lot of guys over a lot of years have good luck with those things. And yes you are definitely stating facts. Fortunately I purged the system of air and topped off the coolant, and it's super easy to switch it back if I start to get CEL or if any weird stuff... I also send my oil out once a year just to get it analyzed... just for fun :)... Thanks for the reply ... stay safe out there!

The fan setting parameters are not accessable throught the T2. A tuner will need to make those changes and send them to you in a tune file.

While lowering operating temperature in and of itself does not increase performance it is an enabler for other modifications and tune changes that do increase performance.
