Congrats, great little device...yes the canned tunes are pretty decent for a stock motor in most cases, go get a tankful of BP 93 or a known trusted brand of 93...first load the 93 tune see how she feels, then try the 91 and see which one you feel is the better of the two..you'll know you got some good gas if the 93 tune feels stronger then the 91...other trinkets: set the throttle boost to 20, dial in your tire size, when you go back to check if your tire size is loaded it will look like it did not accept it but its in there no worries, I would say don't touch the fuel or timing stuff you'll learn that after you learn and understand KR pull when data logging slowly but surely over time spent with it... Main tips: before plugging in the device run the car for a few min to top off the battery, then close yourself in the car and turn off any electrical draws...very important step: pop the start button out and use your key to cycle the ignition when prompted so there is no interruption, delays, or worse..freeze ups during the writing process...a catch can and 180 stat are whats needed to nicely complete the 93 tune or any tune for that matter, the 180 recommended fan settings are probably not a big deal in the winter but a huge difference in the summer...hope this helps, good luck
