I have seen that ad before and I loved it!
My two favorite commercials were the Budweiser ad with the puppy, and the assurance ad with Walter White from Breaking Bad.

Agree with you Art. Not many appealing ads any more. What has happened to the ad people, they have no real sense of humor, no wit and mostly just super dumb stuff. Kind of like that half time show. Katy tried to yell as hard as she could. Maybe all you guys loved it for different reasons, but I just thought it was childish and really stupid.

Although its been televised before, that was one of the better Super bowl commercials. IMO this years' crop as a whole wasn't that good.
We don't get the Superbowl ads up here, Canadian channels are not allow to show them and the American cable channels at commercial break have to divert to Canadian ads. Now apparently that is to change by 2017.

Rob, I was wondering how that worked in Canada. Is the interest in the Super Bowl very high in Canada?

Was the message the car is for the elderly???
I'd rather think the message was that you can learn a lot from other people's experiences....I hope that just because I have more behind me than in front of me that it doesn't mean that I'm THAT old.....(despite what my nephews tell me....but what do they know....one drives a ricer and the other a mom & pop Ford)

I'm sure that was the intent, the passing of wisdom and all. I guess I would of liked to of seen them showing it in someway passing it down to the generations after them, like maybe they were in the 70's style car saying what they were and then the next generation saying it as well with the new gen. cars.... passing down the wisdom, the heritage and the passion of the car....meh...that's just me, what do I know. :)

I agree with you. While I am also biased, I thought the commercial was great. Between the Fiat ad (very funny) and the Jeep ad, Fiat-Chrysler spent a huge amount of money. I thought most of the ad spots were lackluster and flat. The Budweiser puppy ad was very cute, but then puppies are an easy way to score points in my heart.

It was a super cool commercial.....I was straining to see who was driving it....thought it was Richard Rawlings.
