I'll start it off with some very early history in the Dodge Challenger line-up...

In 1969 the Dodge Challenger was officially introduced to the public. To enhance the introduction at the countries major auto shows, they grabbed the first Challenger produced off the assembly line in Hamtramck, MI and used it as a base for a Concept/Show Car named the Yellow Jacket. This particular car was a specially built triple-black, 4.10 axle ratio equipped four-speed Hemi Challenger that packed the full options list available at the time. The photo's below show this exact car in the promotional photo's taken at the time.

To me, the Dodge Colt only is notable only as a Pro Stock drag car. Good or bad, it's still part of the mix though...

The retro belt line style stripe would look awesome on the Plum for sure.

The Taillights and Trunk look very much like an old AMC / Javelin

This is an interesting Vehicle that Dodge was planning on to compete with the Corvette that never went into production story...

Looks like an E body dash and console, to me taillights look like 72 -74 Challenger.

Too bad. I like it. Especially the side pipes and side body vents and air scoops.

Yep, the taillights were lifted for the '72-'74 Challengers.
