·My '09 R/T came with no spare tire at all. Any recommendation for an inexpensive, junkyard "donut" that will fit so I don't have to call a wrecker for just a flat tire?
If it doesn't fit then I would recommend encasing the full size spare in a tire bag so other items in the trunk don't get messed up. I know that TireRack sells them.A full size spare would provide better piece of mind on a long road trip. Will a full size spare fit where the donut goes?
They get the Tirefit kit, basically tire goo (sealant) and air pump. Sort of like a glorified bottle of flat fix it. It is supposed to be good as a temporary fix and to allow you to drive up to 100 miles provided you have only a small puncture of course. Other than that you are basically stuck and will have to call/get some assistance. What do the people with spare tyre delete do eg SRT . I know I should no but I'm a very slow reader
Not only that, but I heard that the sealant ruins the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) device. They get the Tirefit kit, basically tire goo (sealant) and air pump.
