Apologies in advance for yet ANOTHER one of these threads, but I have been searching and reading the site and some say there is still drone and others say there is no drone. I've been going in circles!!!

So here it is. I've narrowed my choices to between the Corsa Xtreme and the Solo Mach X. Can those of you with a 5.7 Auto with either one of these two installed please post up your drone experiences?

Many thanks to those who have offered guidance and advice to me so far. I've got an itchy trigger finger but I only want to do this mod once with no regrets. I know the Solo is louder/deeper, but I'm sure I would be happy with the quality edge of the Corsa. At this point, I want to let this dreaded drone issue be the deciding factor (I know I can autostick the drone out, but it's nice to not have to do that).

I'm very happy with them, a bit pricy but well worth it.

Cool. They only make one kit for the 5.7 (P/N: 14529), correct? There is not a different kit for the 5.7 auto?

Yea, that's the same P/N. I just never read anything in the description about it being specifically for auto as the Solo Mach X does. I guess the Xtreme is the same kit for auto and manual?

I have the Corsa Xtreme. The sound is good for me - not too loud while cruising and it really barks on WOT. No drone, but I have the MDS turned off using my DSP tuner. Auto Anything (site supporting vendor) will probably have the cheapest price and has free shipping. Install was easy enough with ramps and only took an hour and half or so.

I'm assuming you have a 2013. If you elect to go the Corsa route there are [2] versions. Both part numbers are for both auto or 6-speed.

Deep growl at idle
Bold during acceleration
Screams at high RPMs
No drone during cruise

# 14527 (Sport Series)

Distinct rumble at idle
Aggressive sound through gears
No drone during cruise

That's a personal preference I guess, you have to go with your heart, there are a number of good systems out there. I personally went with the Corsa because I didn't want a set of cop callers on my car, the Corsa is fairly quiet until
you step on it.

You really can't go wrong with either Solo or Corsa. I have the same model Challenger as you (R/T Classic, auto trans), and I decided a long time ago that if I ever took the plunge into an aftermarket exhaust system, it would be the Corsa Extreme. But I got to listen to it live at the vendor display last year at Spring Fest, and that's pretty much what sold me.

I can off this, I have the Solo system and it comes with two adjustable J-pipes if you have drone you can change the angle of these to tune the exhaust. I had mine at about 45 degrees off vertical and had drone at about 75 mph or 2300 RPM. After about a month all the drone throughout the RPM range is gone. Nada. I was going to fiddle with the J-pipes but glad I didn't. Regarding sound here are two clips from my car. Great sound but wallet is lighter because I am always in the throttle, it is intoxicating. Install wasn't that difficult.

*edit: I have the 5.7 Auto and the sound has gotten better with a few miles under her belt.*

Here's a thread I posted on the Corsa Extreme that contains both impressions and
a couple of sound clips (pg. 2). I relied on opinions from some of our members who were spot on.Remember sound is objective.
I could not be happier with the system. I've heard good things about the Solo Mach as well. Good Luck.

Keep in mind, it's only with the MDS enabled... otherwise, there's almost no drone. This is the second Corsa that I've bought... the first was too loud no matter what I did,... the second is much better!
