I had a great time this weekend on my first trip with the group. I enjoyed my time talking with Nick throughout the day. He told his uncle that I had to lift when his supercharged camaro couldn't pull away from me.

Both Nick and I were robbed of just one more lap. We wanted that so bad.

Now it's time for you to really "track" your car...like at Pocono.

A BIG Thank You to the O'Gormans!
Yes, I know Bob makes the arrangements and pulls strings every year to make this a fantastic event, but I also know the entire family is involved in getting all of the details just right for our Wine Cruise and laps at The Glen!
Obviously, Thanks to Bob for putting it all together.
Thanks to Mrs O'Gorman for creating new ballots and voting categories!
Thanks to Bob's daughter for creating an AWESOME label for the commemorative bottles of wine we all will store but never open!
And Thank you to the rest of the family for filling out the field to ensure we had enough cars to get us on the track again!
Take a bow, folks! and Thank You All!

Yes it's always a fantastic weekend with so many friends. It wouldn't happen without the O'Gormans.
Another unbelievable experience. As "Dad" put it, well done.:smileup::smileup:

Thanks to Bob and his family...another great event which seems to get better each year! Great to meet some new people too.

John, did you take a publicity job with Pocono? :D

That was really cool! Wife said the same thing, won't ever be opened.

You guys do some great stuff to your car...now use and enjoy it on the track by really running it. Not just a track tour.

    I hear ya, I hear ya :)

(after the trip to Talladega, I'd love to be able to turn the Challenger loose. Think I need some suspension upgrades first though)

    Jim,

Sway bars will make a HUGE difference on the handling. I have the Hotchkis Sport Sway bars and it corners FLAT!

Bob as always I see you did a great job .I was sad to have to cancel last minute but my lose till next time. I proud and happy to receive a bottle of the special Challenger at the Glen wine as Bob put maybe the most expensive wine in my cellar .But it the only bottle that has all those beautiful cars on the label and mine is one of them. It almost makes up for not going .
    Thank you
    Bob O

I agree! I did the sways on my last two SRTs. It's a relatively inexpensive mod too.

Gonna look into it...is this a DIY job, or would I need to have them installed by a garage?

The front is easy. The rear can be a bitch. You usually have to lower the rear cradle to fish the new one in. Fairfield did both of mine in the past.

Jim also make sure you do a wheel alignment after your install.
