I'm starting to feel upbeat.

It's the middle of January and I know in less than eight weeks I'll be back on the streets 🤠. This is my third year of storing during Iowa winters and I'm grateful that I can, cuz I wouldn't want it any other way.

That's a coincedence, I was thinking the same thing yesterday! I usually put full insurance back on mine and the wife and I celebrate my birthday in April with a Wakeup Cruise over to the Hot Dog Stand. This winter we've hardly had enough snow to shovel, but IDOT and the city street crews have just poured the salt and liquid brine on at even the slightest whisper of snow. After several good rainstorms in early April I figure I might venture out into the garage and take a peek under the cover at the snoring Lil' Twister...

We can't fool Mother Nature......but I like it when she's on my side .

Ooohhh, but don't forget - Tornado season's just around the corner. I see the Weather Service here is announcing Storm Spotter training dates alread LOL! Hopefully things will stay quiet during the Spring-Early Summer like it has the last several years up here in Northern Illinois. Seems the Southern States have taken a beating lately...

It was 54 and sunny in New Jersey yesterday and before I knew it I had the cover off and I was cruising with the sunroof open and traction control off....so much fuuuuuun

That's a good question...one I never asked.
We live out in the stix and have not had any instances of crime in my 32 years here. I know that doesn't mean it couldn't happen.
Any thief would have to get into the house to get the key FOB in order to steal a car. That in itself would be hazardous to the intruders health if I am home - and since I'm retired it's probably the case during the day and at night.

Me too, I'm a newly retired "homebody" as well as a light sleeper. They'd better be super ambitious and faster than a bullet if they want to have anything we've got.
