Any ever remove the interior shield behind the bottom grill to give the fender well intake more air as well as send more air to the engine compartment? I think they just are there to block the elements but if its not your daily driver I don't see a problem with removing it. Thoughts?

I don't think I would remove it, After taking the front fascia off to do halos and putting it back on it seemed to me that it helps tie the lower front end together.

Yeah I see it's connected to the grill insert and the chin spoiler bracket. It's def not holding the chin spoiler to the facia.

I think you are talking about the piece behind the lower grill on the drivers side. If so yes I removed it a long time ago to get more cold air to the air box. It is my daily driver and have had no problems at all.

Yep, that's the one. I just removed it. I put LMI's true CAI on last winter and the cone sticks down thru the opening so I was saying as a daily driver the cone may get wet.

Yup that will get wet. I run a k&n drop in in the stock box with a charger intake tube so on mine it's not an issue.

Unless you get caught out in an unexpected rain storm you should be good to go:smileup:
