I'm curious if anybody knows can you find these in a chrome or silver trim? Before you answer the obvious, yes I've used Google. I see them in all sorts of colors and the last thing I want is banana yellow inserts. Body color match might be nice, but all I find is generic "red" that's an obvious mismatch for my car. I like the chrome/silver trimmed ones I see sometimes on the late model SXT's but can't seem to find something like that anywhere, even as an OEM replacement it doesn't seem to be sold as a separate part, looks like you need to buy the whole grill.

You can either paint the ones you have on there the color silver that you want by masking around them and spray painting with, for example, Krylon Metallic Silver (or another type of silver spray paint of your choice). See my video link below to see how that's done.

If you want to spend a bit more money on this, order the stick on Amazon Insert Overlays in white and then spray paint those after you degrease them to get the mold release off them once they arrive and you unbox them. Those seem to have to much of a "thick look" to me, as they have to be larger so they go over your stock ones.

The last, and most expensive option, would be to order an OEM set of silver factory inserts and remove the front bumper clip. This can be done in about an hour from start to finish if you're handy with tools and tight spots, and you'll also need someone to help slip it off and then put it back on again when your done replacing the old inserts with the new ones. There are two plastic alignment pins that you will encounter when taking the bumper clip on and off - be careful not to accidently snap either of them off.
