Got a Deal I Could Not Pass Up

I been to a few dealers in my area, looking for a trade in for a Scat Pack. First three looked bleak at least. The forth one got the deal done. Kelly blue book has my car at 22K. I told them this car is like new. Garage kept, and has never seen rain, snow, and has been stored during the winter months. Has only 4900 miles on her. The dealership offered 2K over price, plus invoice on the scat pack, minus the add ons. To add, they offered to flatbed my car to their dealership, remove Mods, like Mopar CAI, and catch can, and install them on my new scat pack. Then flatbed my new car to my house. It was an offer I could not refuse.

Thanks everyone, delivery should be 6 to 8 weeks.

In a way the waiting is not so bad, as my car this time of year is stored away fore winter.

Like to add I got the Torred Red, with all the options except sunroof.

Just hoping, my Hurst Short Throw Shifter, with wood grain pistol, will be compatible with the 2015s.

Hey good score , fantastic to hear of a dealer getting off their ass and going the extra mile . They may have got themselves a customer long term not just this car . You should give them a wrap on here sounds like they see the bigger picture .

I have said before that I would keep my car and SC it. But seeing the Scat Pack come out, with the 4 Piston Brembo Breaks, and the 392 Hemi, I went out of my way to see if I could get a good deal, and a decent base of a car I can build from.

LOL...So they got you too!! That new Scat Pack is just an awesome package so like you and me...I expect there are going to be allot that just can't resist...lol Congradulations...and a good deal for sure. After 3 months and 5 dealers...the best I could do was 500 over invoice and 19K for my perfect 18K mile 010. Most dealers see this new package as a chance to make extra money at MSRP or better so you did real well!!:smileup:

yep, finding a dealer willing to work with you on an order was good. I had to get out of the city to get my SRT ordered with any kind of a discount. Most dealer wanted to push their current inventory. But i want what i want. 6-8 weeks is good for delivery. Here i Oklahoma it-s 8-10, and mine ( according to current status ) will get here in 9, if there are no other changes. ordered 10/30/14 and its scheduled to be delivered 1/2/15. Weather ha s been good here, so waiting is hard.

nice upgrade!!! i think MOPAR's are keeping their value pretty well. Used Chally's around here are not sitting on the lot... My dealer has had the same mustang GT for 4 months now...

Hear what Dan???? About his Red Car Classic Trade in??? Nope,,,,, didn't hear a thing,,, I hear others are getting sucked into to this awful HP contagion thats spreading the hp392scat virus someone has imported to this forum... Got my shot,,, I am still 98.2F..

With all my mods Dan,,, Mileage,,, initial high cost,,, changing back to stock,,, if they even say the phrase Blue Book,,, I might come unglued. still good here..
