Hey Hell Cat Owners, I have been reading the online owners manual and found a small paragraph about oil changes that states there are two places you have to drain the oil from when performing your oil change. The first drain plug is on the oil pan and there is another on the engine oil cooler. If you forget to do the oil cooler drain plug, you will end up over filling the crank with oil besides getting old oil mixed with your fresh oil. Not sure what is going on with my oil life indicator. I looked at it today and it is showing almost time to change the oil? Couldn't find anywhere in the manual that tells me to expect it to come on that early. Everything I found in manual states change it at 6,000 miles?

Depending on how hard I drive, I use Mobil 1 synthetic and change between 7k-10k. On my Durango, I always go 10k and have never had a problem with either car. My hemi engine tick went away the moment I changed from the OEM oil to the Mobil 1.
