Word is that once he red lighted he just held into the throttle to do a big burnout, he didn't know that his bad run was going to make such big news.Thought the video was pretty funny and the Tesla ran an 11.6 at 114 which is a good run regardless.
The Hellcat driver was a pitiful representation and should practice his launch for a month and request a rematch or let a real driver under the steering wheel.
70barcuda;1017168 Fortunately for most folks when they make a bad run it isn't recorded and posted as some supposed representation of what the car can do. I'm looking forward to their rematch.[/QUOTE said:Me too, as there is a ton of videos on the net about that Tesla run and the Hellcat driver better be on his game because the electric Tesla's launch is much easier.
It will be interesting to see if the media gives the rematch the same attention if the Hellcat wins. He's now at a 10.86 @ 127 mph and should be ready for a rematch. Here's his latest video: http://youtu.be/o_aB9JTiFVE
