Hello everyone I am new to this forum and i just bought a 2014 Dodge challenger SXT in November and i am in love with the car completely. I am wondering What are some of the issues i would run into with the dodge challenger as a whole and what can i do to prevent them?

My main question is: Is there an available swap for the 2014 dodge challenger transmission to a manual transmission. I did some research and I know that the base model SXT does not come with a Manual Transmission. I was wondering is there any way i could possibly put a manual transmission into my SXT? it is the base model SXT with the 3.6 litre V6 engine. Thanks to everyone who can put some input down this will really help a lot!!

As far as putting a manual in the SXT, it would be cost prohibitive. You would quickly have the cost of an R/T involved to have custom pieces made to fit a manual to the 3.6, not to mention the cost of the electronics involved.

Welcome ,I read your question ,and I will have to answer with another question, Does mother Mopar even make a manual transmission that will even mate up with the 3.6 engine? and yes as mentioned above it seems like it might work , if there is it would require alot of modification to get it to work.

Maybe someone with some real knowledge can answer this, interesting question for sure

Hi and welcome. As far as your manual question goes, as some have mentioned before it is cost prohibitive if even possible at all. If you really want a stick that bad you should look at an R/T. It would cost way less than converting your current car considering the cost of your car plus the modifications (not to mention warranty and resale value implications).
