Welcome from north N.J. When you become a site supporter you can get rid of the adds.

Welcome to the Z from Key West! The ads you see support the site. Like Dodge Boy said, site support removes all the adds in addition to increasing storage space and opening up supporters only sections of the forum. This link explains it all:

So in other words you need to pay for it sounds like fun
Welcome to the Z!

I pay $40 a year for the lowest support available, and many members here voluntarily pay more. This is the only forum I have ever paid to help support the site, and not only because it's the only forum that I feel merits my financial support, but it's also my way of saying thank you to the many great members here who have shared suggestions, ideas, and web links to products, services, and advice that have literally saved me thousands of dollars when I went to buy my Challenger 18 months ago, and hundreds of dollars more saved in maintenance, mods, and upgrades.

$3.33 a month? Penny for penny the best investment you will ever make online. But the best part is you can still access all of these great resources without paying anything other than the annoyance of some popup ads.

For me, its the people, the money doesn't matter. The site is amazing and the people are the best.

Welcome to the forum!

When I used to use Internet Explorer as a web browser this site would give it fits, constantly crash, etc. It was almost to the point where I couldn't even go on this site.

I switched to Google Chrome and found that works much better, even with all the ads. Now the pages load much faster and it never crashes. But I agree they are still somewhat of a pain. But they provide revenue to keep the site alive which is good.

I haven't been a site supporter yet but I'm thinking about doing it this year. $40 is the minimum level I believe which isn't too much. I've learned so much off of this site and saved so much money by reading things on here from other members it's well worth it.

But if you're not digging the idea of paying for the site then I would try using a different web browser like Google Chrome and see if that works a little better for you.
