I have #77 and just discovered my hood decal around the shaker where the "seam" or groove is around the shaker seems to be causing my hood decal to begin peeling or coming loose. So I start checking the rest of the decals on the trunk and find that 5 of the 6 thin decals are beginning to "curl" just in front of the rear trunk spoiler.

So I swung by the dealer last week to start the process and set an appt for an oil change. The guy says they will need to photograph it and take it to an auto body shop because they don't do the decals at the dealer.

So, tomorrow I will take it to the dealer for the service and let them photograph the decal issues but I'm not going to let them keep the car for several days for that. With my luck there will be some jackass dealer employee out running around in my car!

Anyone else have decal issues? My car is not driven much and only have 5k miles on it. It is garaged 24/7 when not in use.

I have a chip in one of my decals, and it sat at the dealer for a week just to find out there is no part number for the decal. I have the Mopar 14 side stripe, and they are trying to locate a stripe for me. They told me to just pick the car back up because they have no time frame on getting this rare decal. Other then that my decals look like they are in good shape.

It should not peel. Did you apply any wax or cleaner over them ?

best bet is to go to a sign shop. They'll know how to apply and replace decals and would be much cheaper than a body shop. However if you're wanting it covered by warranty you're stuck with the dealer

I just realized a week or so ago that my decals are pealing/chipping at the top edge! I don't know what to do about it tho...I have been looking into just getting some new decals and having those removed! I've also considered doing it all myself but only because I make decals myself and have some experience working with them....but I will be ordering custom made decals for my car hopefully in the near future. I'm a bit nervous about it tho!

I have Shaker #890. Its been garaged all winter. Go to take the cover off this weekend and notice the decals around the shaker hood are peeling up....GREAT! That is why I leased - its the dealer's car so they can fix it!

Although I have no issues at all with my RT decals I will be replacing them with real paint before the end of the year. On the flip-side, the rear trunk area that has dark grey plastic around it is fading entirely too fast for my taste. I may just get that area painted at the same time to clean it all up.

I didn't get any decals on my car, just decided I love the color, so I had them delete the stripe package when I ordered it. Now I guess I am glad for that decision. Hope all of you get these issues resolved soon.

I wonder who is the supplier for the shaker decals? My factory stripes are over 4 years old and still look good and it is driven daily and the sun here is brutal.

I have had mine replace twice and going back next week for another go at it..will be asking for a refund if this does it too...

I had my decals replaced several months ago and now I see the same problem occurring on the trunk lid again. Under the rear trunk spoiler the edges are curling again. My car is always garaged except while driving it. I'm getting mad over this stupid issue.

Agreed...I've had Dodge document the issues .... It's a bummer my Challenger is just a week over a year old .. I'm not going to keep doing this!! I want the shaker decal but will have it deleted if this time it come up...

I had to have it replaced a few months after I bought it new last year and I just noticed a couple of weeks ago it is happening again in the same place, around the shaker insert....not happy. I may just tell them to remove it and and give me an RT stripe on the side instead
