I use Turtle Wax Chrome Polish.

If the pitting is not too bad it may be cleanable, but if the pitting has gotten all the way through the Chrome layer, Not.

 

I just clean the with a wheel cleaner and then wax them.

 

Which Chrome Wheels do you have can you post pics because they had some wheels with a Chromed Plastic Cover on them.
These are Chrome Clad Plastic Trim Covers glued on to the Wheels. If you have this type of Wheel and they are pitted your not going to get it out
with a Cleaner. Also some Harsh Cleaners will cause the Glue to release them.

Also if you have these and you want to shine them use a very soft Microfiber Cloth and lightly Wet it then Spray the Rag with a Glass Cleaner
or Rubbing Alcohol and wipe them down.

 

Yes those are exact rims. I will try the windex trick. You cant polish them till you get the brake grime and slight pitting removed. It never goes in rain so no rust issues

In my mind I pictured the Heritage wheels like my car. For some reason I don’t think they are chrome

 

On my former ‘09 RT with the chrome clad wheels, I would clean them when washing the car with Meguiar’s car wash. Every now and then I would use a spray wax on them. They stayed pristine for a long time.
