It will certainly slow them down and give you some recourse if they disregard. I have this one.

People have also drilled a small hole through the side and put one of those tiny padlocks so you can't plug anything in.

Do they even have any new flashes for older model Challengers? I know mine got reflashed a couple times when it was newer, but the last few times it's been in the dealer they never even touched it.

The cover is a good idea, but I also just plain tell the service manager not to touch the OBDII port. I tell them if they need to for some reason to notify me first.

Yep. I always tell mine that I don't want them to wash my car when I take it in for service, but I still tape a "NO CAR WASH" sign to the steering wheel cuz you're always going to have that one guy who doesn't read the service manager's notes on the work order! :smileup:

Nope......I have the MDS turned off with the tuner. Looking at available options for Dealers in my area to do the repair, and the satisfaction ratings (or lack thereof) that correspond to these yahoos, I figure I'll take my chances. Don't want to hijack the thread, but the parts are the same as the 6 spd cars have....manual trans cars just doesn't have MDS.
