So i did my blastin bobs yesterday. I expect some disturbing the peace tickets soon lol. Anyway, i couldnt get the tips back on. Used the original clamps, but even when the clamp is all the way shut, i can just pull them right off without any trouble. I tried every way i could, but they just wont stay put. Is there a trick i am missing? I am pretty close to just using some jbweld on them.

Once you break the spot welds, it's pretty hard to get them to stay put as you have noted. You can drill some holes and fasten them with security screws. Check out How to install Mopar Quad Tips for the details.

Thank you so much. I thought i was going insane, or just stupid. Drill holes, use sheet metal screws, done. My car looks nekkid with no tips.
