“Which Flowmaster muffler is right for my Challenger?"

Because Flowmaster offers over a dozen different series of street mufflers, the answer to this question will vary depending on the make, model and performance needs of your vehicle, your personal sound preferences, budget, etc. Summit Racing Equipment spoke with Flowmaster's VP of Sales, Alex Ortega, to help narrow down your choices and give you a better idea of what to expect from each series of Flowmaster muffler. For more info visit, www.flowmastermufflers.com or contact our tech line at 707-544-4761.

Great post. Thx
We appreciate that and hope that the video is helpful. Summit did a great job putting this together. Of course, if anyone ever has a specific question about their vehicle's system, never hesitate to pick up the phone or send us a PM.

went to shop for exhaust up grade . the guy put 2 fm 40s in place of the resos. left the mid mufflers on sounds great.was that a mess up or no
If you are happy with the sound, you are good to go. No problems there. The resonator's job is to eliminate exhaust frequencies that create drone. By removing the resonators and replacing them with our 40 Series mufflers, you enhanced the tone and increased the level of volume produced by your exhaust system. Removing the resonators entirely, without adding mufflers, would have resulted in an increase in volume with a more substantial increase in cabin noise. If you have any additional questions, feel free to give us a call at 707-544-4761.

not stanless model # 42443 $375 cost for total job
Your factory system is stainless, so if you go for the muffler swap, we would recommend that you replace whatever components are removed with stainless steel products. That being said, give our Tech Line a call at 707-544-4761 so that we can walk you through the options that we have available for your car and get you the part numbers that you need.
