1970 Hemi Challenger Rag Top - as far as American Iron these are at the top of the food chain selling for millions of dollars now. Of course the Hemi Cuda rag top is king with the last one sold at auction going for 3.5 million dollars but we had to choose from Grand Spalding so Challenger it is.

If I could go back in time I would wish to have my 65 Plymouth Sport Fury convertible. Light blue, white top, black interior bucket seats, and console. 4 Speed with 383 dual point engine, headers, and a glove box full of tickets LOL. (Geez, I was 16 when I owned this car in 1966) Time goes by fast! If my memory is decent here are the numbers I remember. Setting on points, 17........plugs 33. But my memory sucks!

So that is where you barrowed your girl friend finger nail file. Sanded the points and then took the match book cover to reset the point gap.

I would go with a '64 Plymouth Savoy (3200 lbs) with the 426 "wedge" then go by the parts counter and order the cross ram intake with a pair of the big 780 cfm Holleys, ram's horn headers, and the "full race" purple cam and lifters have the dealer install and tune the car when it arrived. Should put out close to 650 hp an 700+ ft lbs. With today's tire technology that combo should be knocking on the door of the 10's.

Can you imagine changing plugs on this?

1968 Chevy Camaro, 1971 Chevy Chevelle, 1970 Challenger (any color!), 1970 'Cuda, Steve McQueen's Bullitt Stang, and the Charger that was in the movie. Love all American classic muscle!!!!
