Just installed the 91 tune into a 2014 Dodge Challenger SXT. While the tuner has made a noticeable difference in the way the car drives there are a couple things are not crystal clear to me.

1) If I do not defeat traction control with the tuner and use the button on the dash as designed does it have the same results?

2) Is the fan temp changed to 180° with the canned tune? Do I need to go back in a change that back to the stock temp?

I don't think the tune turns off the traction control by default, so the dash button is still the one that turns it on and off. You can check it by turning the traction control off (using the button), and stepping on the pedal. You should be able to spin the tires. If you see the difference with the button on or off, then your tune did not turn the traction control off.

Also, I think the canned tune does not mess with the thermostat control. But I may be wrong. You should have the option to modify the tune parameters, so you can see if there is an option for changing the fan temperature (and/or traction control).

After further research it seems when using the tuner to defeat the traction control it turns off the ABS, TC and ESC systems. Not really looking for all that. I stuck with using the dash button.

On the fan temps it leaves the temps set by the stock tune. One would have to go in and change the temps manually if installing the 180° 'stat. Not going to be doing that.

You do not change the temps unless you bought the proper thermostat.

I use to be against disabling the ABS and all that until i tried it and it really improved the performance of the vehicle, more then any other mod other then the supercharger. The nice/shitty thing about disabling the ABS is once you turn off the vehicle and start it back up you have ABS back. So if you like having off all the time then you need to readjust the tune every time before start up.

Temps have not been and won't be changed.

Messing with the tune at each start up is not something I look forward to. I am just going to leave the tune with the TC active and use the dash button.

Yah its a real pain in the ass but i do enjoy the extra horsepower it gives by fully disabling the TC/ABS/ESC, its too bad the dash button does not fully disable TC.
