Hey guys I've searched all these threads for the answer to my question, but haven't found it yet. I'm just wondering how complicated it is to remove the intake manifold on a 6.1l. I'm wanting to send it out to "Mack Built" to get it ported , but didn't know what the process is for removal. How complicated is it, as it doesn't seem like it should be that bad.

The big thing is pull the fuse for the fuel pump and crank the car until it absolutely refuses to run to get the pressure off the fuel system. The rest is mostly hoses & bolts, the fuel rails and injectors can be removed after you pull the intake.
