Is Jazz blue the same as the B5 blue?
No, Jazz Blue is a darker blue that almost looks black from far away, but up close there is no mistaking the color. B5 blue is a lighter metallic blue and also a beautiful color.

Here is Jazz Blue in the sunlight.

I looked for a sunny day picture and here it is. The paint has silver flecks in it that seem to show up only in the sun!

Both look great, the Jazz blue must look amazing in the sun. My 14 Shelby is the ruby red metalic and it does the same thing, sunny days really shines. The B5 color is the one that is on hold or hard to get?

I am working on my order for a b5 blue, dealer can't tell me when it will come which has me baffled ... But they push so hard to buy what they have in stock they really just pushed me farther from buying it there.
Not sure why buying a car that has slow sales to begin with is so hard?

B5's were offered in '09 and '10 on a very limited basis. That wheel package is off of an early SRT....new Challenger's will have different rims.

Jazz Blue will look black most of the time except in direct light. Very similar to Blackberry.
IMO, Jazz Blue, while a very dark shade of blue, is easily discernable as blue. Blackberry is so dark that one can only tell that it's blue when the car is in bright sunlight.
