How close to the nut can you get without having issues with tire hitting in the front. I ask because I picked up a pair of used tires to replace the fronts that were completely trashed. Bought 245 50 20....but after being so close to that nut I was afraid to use them in front so I moved them to the rear and put what's left of my 255 45 20 in front until I can get two more tires. Anyone know answers here.....lol

You can can get pretty close, but i would'nt want to be any closer than a 1/4". If you need a touch more space you could file down the upper ball joint stud a little bit.

I think there was about a 1/4 inch but didn't have much faith...ill have to see about rotating them up front again and measuring it. Otherwise ill just buy a matching set with 255 45 20 but hoping I can keep the same size all the way around until I get new tread before winter.
