This is for an Automatic car R/T trim 2013 but any of the newer years should be the same. Even a simple shot into the muffler from the end would be helpful. What I really am looking for is what the actual core diameter is for the stock muffler.

If you have your stock exhaust laying around this would be easy to get, if you have an inside micrometer that would be even better.

it is thought to be 2.25 but it seems it really necks down at the case, curious on the width of the actual tube through the muffler.

So I just mic'd the out side of the pipe as it enters the muffler body, its 2.10" o.d. with a .050 wall that make it no more than 2.0" I.D going through the muffler.

So the advertised 2.25" exhaust is really effectively necked down to 2" at various places including the mufflers.

Still seeking a photo of the inside of the stock muffler inlet if anyone has one.
