Hello everyone, I hope you can help me, I recently got my R/T and the suspension was lowered with the Eibach kit. I have to say it looks great but recently running the car through a car wash the bottom cover in the front snapped off or something and since then it seems to be hanging. As winter is almost here I put the car away and I won't drive it until the spring but I have been going crazy trying to find out how to re attach the cover or if I need a new one. Does anyone with a lowered one has had a problem like this?

Thanks in advance.

Pictures would be nice but it sounds like you damaged the chin spoiler. If that's the case, it's held on by a few screws and some push pins.
Best case - you broke a few push pins and those can be purchased cheap.
Worst case - you damaged the chin spoiler (cracked the plastic where the fasteners attach it to the car). In that case you have to pick up a new one - or else upgrade to the SRT chin spoiler.

If you just broke the screws or pins I'd just replace those and be done. If the spoiler itself is damaged or cracked then you'll want a new one. All of that stuff can be purchased at the dealership.

That's one reason why I never take my car through an automatic car wash. They always seem to damage something or put scratches on the paint, etc. They make touchless auto washes that clean your car without touching anything, that might work better for you since the car is lowered. I use those in a jam sometimes in the winter, otherwise I just handwash it at home or in a coin car wash bay if it's too cold to use the hose at home.

Thanks Carl, trust me I don't really like to run through the car wash but the touchless car wash not always do the job. I honestly rather wash it at home or use one of the bays witht he pressure washers but in this case a few days before there was a little snow and then the temperature went up and the salt was just flying everywhere so I ran it through the car wash since it was right there and I heard it snap while in the middle of it. I'll probably put it on the ramps and just look and see if I can replace the pins. I really couldn't see much since I don't fit underneath and I need my low profile jack to raise it and is now put away.

I have the Eibach kit on mine too, but I only take it through a touch less wash and have had no problems with the front chin spoiler (watch your rims on the tire guides though). My car will never go through a regular car wash. I have enough fine scratches in my black Ram 4x4 due to those...:D

My Challenger is not my daily driver and only gets washed if it gets caught out in the rain. I bought one of those California Dusters (fantastic product) and wipe my car down with it after every drive then it gets covered in the garage. Yeah I'm a little nuts, I admit it.

Good Luck.
