I installed a RER to replace my 130 last week. I did not opt for the microphone at that time, but decided to bite the bullet and get the Mopar Standalone Mic from Mopar Direct Parts. It says you need the dealer scan tool to activate it, but my radio is setup for uconnect and is just missing the mic. Do I need to take it to the dealer?

I connected the mic and it worked like a champ, but I called my dealer and they told me 2010 models are plug and play with the Mygig and if the radio had/has the features, it will work.

So far so good!
