I've been a Challenger owner for about a month now and I have learned so much by reading all of the great posts on this forum. This might get me banned, but I am very content to drive my challenger as is, just like it came from the factory. It've spent hours looking at all of your cool mods, but I feel no compulsion to mod my car. Am I the only one?

No you are not alone, although I have done small mods painted calipers, catch can , stripe, that is all I have done. No big buck mods, because like you I am happy the way it is. It's your car stock or modded it is all your choice as long as you are happy with it great!

Modding is all personal taste. Nobody say you have to mod or how much you should as long as you are happy that is all that matters.

nope you're normal, and nothing wrong with not wanting to change anything. Most of us, me anyway, was the same way for awhile. Then I had this urge to do something to just make me feel a little different or I liked the look that I saw on someone else car, and that was it. like it's been said, nothing wrong with the car stock....it's awesome!

I will say, didn't mod either for the first few months.... but I very deeply into mods at this point. But we do have several club members who are relatively mod free... they are nice cars even stock.

At this early stage no mods for me . Having just spent years of research , time and money restoring my 1970 muscle car I'm a bit scared of doing something ( drilling holes ) I might regret . I do fancy some kind of graphic , I love the AAR Cuda hood .

Not because I want to, but I haven't modified all that much either. The costs of the mods I want to perform all seem to land in the $650 and above area. Multiply that times four or five times and that is a really nice family vacation and a tough sell to boot.

When I bought my 2012 R/T, the ONLY mod I wanted to do was swap out the stock grille for a stainless. I swore I was done! Now I'm at 35 mods and counting. Don't let it bite....you'll be 100% addicted!!

Nothing wrong with that. Your car is so awesome, I agree that it doesn't need any mods!! Most on here just love their cars so much, I think it is more a hobby and enjoyment for them to fiddle with their cars. I haven't really done too much to mine either. My brains and ability limit me from doing lots of things that would be cool!!

I feel the same way. My 2009 RT was heavily on the mods.
I've only done four mods to the SRT...

1. Catch Can
2. MOPAR CAI
3. Skip Shift Eliminator
4. LED Interior Lights

I'm not interested in doing any further mods, not even a tune.

Whoa - that is a lot of mods MoparMom!

To the originator of this thread: My '10 was a Classic in the very eye-popping Detonator Yellow. I only added a few tasteful mods but for the first 6 months almost nothing. The Classic was totally loaded from the factory and I got so many positive comments. These cars look awesome right from the factory. But I'd still like you to check back with you in a year about the mod bug....

Very normal not to wanna change your challenger . Frankly I don't understand why some folks here feel the need to do so much

Looks good as is man! Everyone likes something different, but these cars are really cool in stock form right off the lot too. Mine was stock for a while and then I started doing small mods over time just for something to do for fun, etc.
