Quick question, I have a Mopar CAI and the filter needs to be cleaned or replaced. I have 28k on my car and I can't remember the last time I cleaned it.

Would I be better cleaning it or spend the extra for a brand new one.

Would a K&N fit or be better?

I currently have the blue dry filter.

The blue dry filter can be cleaned in a bucket of water with Dawn dish detergent. All I do is soak it a bit and then pick it up and down a few times. Do not let the water level flow to the inside of the filter. Rinse it out good with clear water and use paper towels to soak as much water out of it as you can. I picked up an extra filter from the dealer for around $50.00 and just swap them out when I need a clean one.
