The new Challenger due out in 2015 will be will be fully redesigned for the 2018 MY (just one of the upcoming ) also included the Charger and Ralph Gilles flop Viper:
Perhaps Dodge’s most well-known nameplates, these two cars were just heavily refreshed for 2015—Charger info here, and Challenger here—with all-new interiors and exterior upgrades, and this week’s Fiat-Chrysler product-info dump indicates that whole-hog redesigns of the cars are due in July 2018. (The SRT variants will follow by the end of the year.) As with the Viper, little is known about the next-gen versions, but we’d assume FCA will look to trim a bunch of weight from the cars. We do know that Alfa’s new rear-drive architecture won’t be applied here.

Interestingly, one additional slide in the presentation referred to this pair generically as “E-sedan” and “E-coupe” in reference to their market segment—it’s tempting to think that this might mean a nameplate shuffle (Charger actually applied to a coupe! Dodge Barracuda!), but that’s highly unlikely at this point given the equity each badge possesses. Then again, stranger, much more confusing decisions have been made by automakers.

So Let the Barracuda rumors start again LOL Even though thats not even being thought of and it would have never been done as a Retro Barracuda at all.

Sadly I think the Viper flopped for 2 reasons,# 1 ill timing on the release what with the Stingray being released near the same time. #2 the price has gotten out of hand $150,000 for the top of the line were that same money can get you a GTR that creams the Viper.Don't get me wrong I really like the Viper and it certainly is not in my price range but people who have no feelings for Dodge like I do might easily be swayed to another car.
