So, I have read where some people have put their mufflers in the rear where the resonators are and some put them where the mufflers were originally. Whats the difference\gains\loses?

That is a loaded question. It comes down to how much sound you want and how much drone you can stand. When I cut my resonators and welded 2 flowmaster 40s in place of the suitcase mufflers. The drone was loud. I got use to them, until I changed my whole exhuast out. Most people that use the mufflers in the place where the resonators were experience a lot less drone noise. So I guess it goes back to what I said earlier. Good luck and let us know what you decide on and how it works out for you.

So what did you do when you changed out your whole system? I ran super 10's on my first R\T and it was loud, not sure it was drone though and they were where the "suit case" mufflers went.

I went with Srt8 headers,and mid pipes and then brought a magnaflow catback to fit the srt8 pipes. No drone.

get a tuner turn off the mds no more drone
or sole I believe sells a J pipe to replace the res
that is what I did with straight pipe from catback
