I noticed something strange when I checked the tracker for my Challenger SP order — it says order processed DEC-03-2023. Isn’t that strange?

Does anyone know why that is? It’s mildly concerning. Also, does anyone know the 2023 Challenger production schedule? Will they do all models constantly or do they make SXTs one week and Hellcats the next, etc.?

I ordered on Halloween last year and still have no schedule for production. They have a customer # that you can call, but they gave me the same answer. Might take up to a YEAR before you get your challenger. That, to me, is just crazy and stupid. I ordered plum crazy, and assumed that might be the reason I am over 4 months from my order. Not sure what
the heck is going on....

That is disheartening, to say the least. Aren’t there any forum members here who work at the factory, and can therefore give us the skinny on what’s going on? If not, one of us should just drive over the Brampton and ask someone who works on the line haha

I have a good friend on here who is an accountant for them. I should ask him, but truthfully I doubt if he could tell us anything.

It must be fate!!! I just checked my email account and I finally have a VIN# That is the first confirmation I have had from Dodge that my order is confirmed. You should be happy with the above. I just got my confirmation today!

Dealer told my buddy it could be a whole year before he see's his car...... It was a Jailbreak tho. He asked about a Vin#? The dealer states when they send u an email about ur Vin# that simply means ur further up in the pecking order but means nothing as far as delivery date.

He said the Vin# thing is just sent out to make ppl feel like their car is closer to being delivered. Its not he says so put no stock in that.

Lol I know my buddy there is ZERO chance he's waiting a whole year for that. He will just buy something else and flip it when it arrives he's the most impatient dude ive ever met so again ZERO chance he's waiting that long lol.

I think his concern is that his order was accepted 8½ months in the future. Someone was obviously getting to type the new year a little early.

The dealers dont seem to know anymore than Dodge does at this point smh. Dodge is so compartmentalized im betting no one at Dodge knows shit other than a few executives in charge of divisions smh.

To keep shit secret for example they have to be tight lipped otherwise the new "Last Call" would have been leaked a long time ago.

Dodge sorta reminds me of top secret govenment projects where ppl are only privy to things they are working on and have no clue whats happening in other departments.

Dealers don't know anything more than we do. Which is a shame. Almost no information about how this last hurrah was going to be handled, was disseminated from Stellantis to the dealer network. This is across ALL their brands. I'm slated for a new 300C and reserved it the day it was announced. (9/13/2022) The dealer had no idea that the car was coming out nor anything about the reservation/order process. (Which was strictly controlled by Chrysler) Luckily I had made a good choice in dealerships and they made sure to find out the correct procedure to initiate the order and what will happen until delivery. Many that wanted this model weren't as fortunate and their dreams of getting one of the last V8 Mopars was crushed. As of TODAY, none of the 300C's has been manufactured. Over 2000 customers waiting patiently, with many opting for another vehicle and cancelling their orders. Some have been able to get TENTATIVE production dates anywhere from middle of April all the way to July. I'm in no rush, so I'll wait as long as it takes.
