image.jpeg Purchased in August, winter assessment: Pros and cons...
Pros... Handles very well in snow, snow tires not necessary, but would be perfect.
    Love the heated steering wheel!
Cons... Hate the indexed Windows, in icy conditions, doors will either not open or close, unless you de-ice completely. Also hate the way the car looks covered in salt!
Seriously, very happy, except the side window problem.

There is at least one thread on the forum that deals with the window problem in the winter. Many solutions there. Maybe someone who knows their way around here can direct to that thread!

I've used the credit card trick at top and bottom of the window. That usually breaks up the ice

One recommends Aquapel or something like that. I would just get a spray bottle of deicer & spray the window/seal in the evening. I've taken a credit card or similar and run down between the window & the seal myself to break it loose.

This product from Prestone works well also. Spray it along the bottom inch of the window and work the window up and down a few inches several times.

There are 7 of these on the roads in the greater Anchorage area that I have seen thus far. Yellow Jacket and Go Mango are the most common colors.

I had the window freeze problem for the first time Saturday. I could not stand to see my GT dirty any longer so I washed it on the way to work in the afternoon and when I got off work at midnight the window was stuck so I used a credit card to free it. IMG_0071.JPG IMG_0074.JPG

Use the Dupont Rubber Saver, it really works. I really reduces the window and door seals from sticking. We don't have decent garage so freezing is an issue, Rubber Saver definitely helped
