So my SRT is approaching its 1- year anniversary in Europe.

I'm glad to report after 8500 miles of city and autobahn driving, the only issues I have had with it were the squeaky brakes (fixed), the minor (barely noticeable) paint scratches on my doors due to haters dinging my car, and a little bit of the black racing stripes chipping off at the front (covered by the warranty).

Having never owned a Dodge nor a musclecar, I must say I am highly impressed. I have no regrets trading in my Audi Q5 for this beast.

It's fast, loud enough, looks very mean, has civilized interior, comfy as a sedan, and makes me smile everytime I'm behind the wheel.

Here are some pics from the last year taken in the south of France, Bavarian Alps, and Austria.

It is really incongruous, especially to locals in these regions. I worry about neck injuries from all the head-snapping doubletakes from these folks whenever my car comes into view.

Enjoy.

Great pictures! Glad you like your Challenger. My family is from Germany. Two Grandmothers and all four great grandparents were from Germany. Beautiful country. Hope to visit one day. My last name is Weimer. Strelitz-Mecklinburg area as I recall, the area we are from. Grandfather had the Coat of Arms for our family. He related to me that the coat of arms went back to 1266. Hard to believe.

"incongruous" is an understatement.

13.6mpg...I would hate to see your gas card statement every month. With gasoline here in northern CA running up to $4.299/gallon for 91 (AKI), although thankfully I found a (discount) gas station selling 91 for $4.059/gallon. Still, I'm down to using my Hellcat just 2 times a week. My JCW gets used the rest of the time.

(I can afford to run the Hellcat all the time just the principle of in some way of avoiding spending that much on gasoline.)

Bet the car makes short work of those mountains.

View attachment 180358 Here in Sweden I pay $2/litre 98 gasoline.
But I love driving my car so I dont care.
Today I drive 300km.
Litsleby near Tanum Sweden
Me too! Love driving my Hellcat. While I haven't driven it 300km in one drive I drove it 3 days to work last week instead of just 2 or even 1 day I at least I say I'm going to limit myself to.

My work commute is 60 miles round trip so that's 180 miles in a week's time and that is very nearly 300km.

And my source of "inexpensive" gasoline has raised its prices again. Stopped in yesterday to fill up the Hellcat and paid $4.299/gallon for 91 octane.

Added: BTW my car is octane red, too.
