Has anyone seen where someone has put an old school Mopar engine in a newer Challenger? I was drinking bourbon last night and browsing on another Mopar forum I dare not name, and saw that they make a bellhousing to mate a TR 6060 to a LA/B/RB block. I wonder how hard it would be to stick a 440 under the hood of our cars? I know lots of us like the old school characteristics of this car, and to me, nothing screams old school more than an old Mopar with a 8-71 sticking out of the hood. Also, looking at the prices some of the performance Gen 3 hemis, and supercharged applications, I believe I could build a 512 stroker for half the cost and have just as much horses naturally aspirated. Again, these are just some of my thoughts I figured I would share and see what input or thoughts yall may have.

I like the idea because it would be something I could do myself . Work on fix and tinker with but a new motor with a maze of tubes and electronics way beyond me . On top of that everything is so available including information . If I saw one at a show I'd be having a massive perv .

Seams like there is a lot electronic gizmos and computer things with these cars. Would be interested to see if it possible.

That is sweet! I was so sad that they didn't show the whole car. I bet it looks amazing with those drag stars and that motor sticking out. I'm just wondering how hard it would be to get around all the electronics.
