Hello.
I do not own a Dodge yet, but thinking about, looking into, and researching a possible 2015 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack Coupe purchase in the next few weeks. I think I prefer a 6-speed.
Will use this site and others to learn more about this car before I make up my mind.
Looking for good info on prices, incentives and info on the 6.4l engine internals. Crank construction, rod and piston construction (forged/cast?) and general info on reliability, and the same goes for the rest of the car, drivetrain (including manual and automatic transmissions), diff.
If I buy the car then I'll be looking for info on doing some of my own servicing: oil/filter changes, replacing the engine air filter and cabin air filter, brake fluid flush/bleed, etc.
Among other vehicles (not really worth mentioning), I've owned a '96 Mustang GT, '01 Camaro Z28, '06 GTO, and currently own two Porsches. Looking to possibly replace the Porsches with just one Challenger.
Also, how are these cars treated at the dealer? I had a real problem with my GTO getting taken out on tech lunch breaks for a spirited test ride that got to the point I had to trade the car in or I would have been faced with replacing clutch, tires, tranny/diff due to the all the abuse the GM/Pontiac techs heaped upon the car.
