Hello all and thanks for the welcome. It is time again for me to choose a car, its been a while. My daughter has finished college, got married, and now I can afford to get me a fun car again. I have been a GM guy my whole life.......66 GTO 389 Rochester 6 pack rock crusher 4 speed, 69 Chevelle SS396 w dual quads 4 sp 4.11 rear, 87 T/A (yeah, I know), 92 vette LT1.
It been 11 years of focusing on my daughter and now I am looking hard.
I am focused in on 2 cars: C6 convertible vette, 6 sp, atomic orange. I know the vettes fairly well and understand issues / pricing / the market, etc.
The other car I am really considering is a 2009 challenger SRT8, 6 sp, hemi orange pearl.
I know nothing about dodge / Challengers other than its a beautiful car that always gets my attention when I see one.
could someone point me to some informational posts about issues w these cars? like things to look for when buying, common problems, tasteful mods that wont affect vale or resale etc.
Also, is there a "for sale" forum? If there is I cant see it (maybe because of my age!)
