Just signed up. Came home with a Phantom Black Hellcat today after many years of being a Corvette fan. Almost went for a Z06 but after a test drive last night and what I thought was an incredible deal, I went with the HC. First Dodge ever.

Any tips or advice from forum members is appreciated. I found the corvette forum members to be really helpful and hope to find the same here. And I hope I can be helpful as well.

Looking forward to being a member of the Challenger group.

PS, will post pics tomorrow when it's day time.

Sunday update: Went up to 25 degrees so I was to get pics. Let me know what you think:

Thanks for the welcome so far. Trying to get outside to take pics but it's 17 degrees and not getting any warmer today. But I'll try. Still need to move some stuff in the garage so I can get it inside.

I barely I had to time to play with yesterday. Seems the weather is going to make using it a bit difficult this as we are getting snow/mix in Jersey a couple of days this week. But I know good times are coming.

Wow! I'm liking that sinister Black! PLEASE be careful in the cold and snow! That HC can get away from you.

Congrads! You will enjoy, I just got my sublime green HC...and yes that thing can get away from you quick on snow and ice! I have the performance tires and they don't grab very good when its cold outside here in Louisiana.....

Congrats on your new edition.

I know I am still over the moon about mine.

Watched Barrett Jackson last night and caught a couple of Corvette commercials from the dealer in Atlantic City, NJ...made me smile...smiled even more when I thought about my HC sitting in the garage all tucked away for winter's nap...even in FLA!

Drove mine about 350 miles the night I picked it up (down I75 N then I10 W)...OUTSTANDING! If you have half the rush I had (and I'm sure you will have more), every penny was worth the price.

OBW, my bride is from NJ, Exit 14 off the Turnpike...Route 10

Welcome home...

Thanks...I actually went to Kerbek the weekend after Christmas to look and the Z06 and the stingray vert. (just sold my 2008 C6). For some reason, I wasn't as excited about the C7 in person as I thought I would be. I drove the vert and felt it had a lot more toys the C6 but was not as powerful as I hoped in the model...felt almost the same as the C6. I would have to go the Z06 if I wanted more power and the meant another $20k.

And honestly after 15 years of vettes I was ready for a change and this was just the thing. I got lucky that a dealer close enough to me got one in and was willing to not only sell it to for MSRP but also give me what I wanted for my trade...so it was meant to.

Best of luck with yours. Maybe we'll meet up at one of the events.
