Hello from Strasburg, VA

Hello and Welcome to the 'Z' from the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. :wavey: Enjoy your Ride and the Site! You'll find some knowledgeable and friendly people to answer your questions or just entertain you. Glad you could join us!

Your challenger is exhibiting a symptom of a crankshaft sensor going bad or one of the wires going to it being loose or grounded. That has happened to a couple instances around here. If you hook up a code scanner to it it will probably show a code relating to that in history.

BTW, I moved your post to its own thread to get the proper recognition.

40 years ago we could have broken out the timing light, checked the sparkplugs, performed a tuneup and called it a day, LOL. Take bad8nti's advice. I'm sure it's a solid solution.
