I recently got a 23 challenger GT (First time buying anything from an actual dealership and the bank wouldn't approve a first time buyer getting a hemi) and was looking around at things to start changing on the car to make it truly mine, I'm by no means a mechanic.
I was looking into getting a new PCM and maybe a ghost cam tune but figured I'd stop and ask for recommendations or guidance, from everything I can find it looks like I'm leaning pretty heavily on a diablo tuner and a tune from hemifever but any help would be greatly appreciated honestly.

Nice looking GT! 👍
But banks don't really care about what you buy, just income , credit score and other lines of open credit. More often than not the entity that gives you the loan will just sell it in batches to investors anyway. So they have no real vested interest in anything other than meeting risk criteria for the loans percentage rate.
If that's what the dealer told you they lied to sell you the car they wanted to sell you instead of the car you wanted to buy. Which sucks, but isn't really at all surprising.
If you weighed the options and your finances and decided that's what you wanted/was in your means different story altogether.
Anyway you should consider that almost anything you do to it motor wise will void whatever kind of warranty you have. If that at all matters to you. I've never paid any attention to them so I don't know what you can/can't do to it but I'm sure others here do. I know that tuning definitely would.

I can't tell you how to modify your challenger but do as you want buddy the 3.6 does great cammed and from what I have seen at holly springs holds boost quite well

Beautiful GT but being a GT the 3.6 Pentastar is 4 Cam Engine not a single cam which means no such thing as a GHOST CAM and no one makes a Cam Kit for one as they would have to make 2 intake and 2 exhaust cams. They are very limited in HP and if you got a AWD GT and not the RWD its going to be even more of an issue for Performance and budging the needle in Power because of the drive Train. A Unlocked PCM and Tune will help but its not going to be a Rocket as your drive train will consume more HP before getting to the Tires. Of course like many don't fall and jump into the Cam, CAI, Thermostat Swap and which so many get the SXT / GT's thinking they are the Budget Hot Rods thanks to Story Tellers on Facebook, Tiktok, X, Youtube etc., they are not. Yes you can bump some power but truthfully the Horsepower. There also is not much for HP performance parts for the 3.6 Pentastar V6. Another Route you can do just for throttle response and yet not bump HP which works nicely is a Banks Pedal Monster not to be confused with the Pedal Master which has more issues and not near the difference the Monster helps with Throttle Resposne. How ever if you do a Tune you dont need a Pedal Enhancer as the Tune will do same thing and some. Switch to a AEM / K&N, DRY High Flow Air Filter not CAI kit btw virtually same exhaust sound and response.

Enjoy the GT as a Cruiser with a nice Muscle Car look.

Welcome from Northeast Illinois! I don't know why, but occasionally I see people on the other forums "dis" others because they didn't get a Hemi of one flavor or another and made the choice for the Pentastar motor. Over here on our site, it's not about the car, the driver or whether you've got a V8 or V6...it's all about the places you go with it, who and what you see, and the enjoyment you get out of it driving it. The Pentastar equipped Challenger will take you down the same roads and highways that any other Challenger will take you and for only 217.5 cubic inches it's got some amazing performance for the size car it's in I feel.

Build it the way you want, do some tasteful visual mods, wheels and tires, some subtle exhaust work and don't get too carried away with mod's with power-adders that don't make much difference other than clearing out your wallet. Make it "your own" and do whatever makes you proud. That's what counts anyway. The world's filled with too many who look down on others with a belly full of negativity towards others with cars in the lower model tiers like SXT and GT. You've got a good start as your car is already a looker and the GT Package makes it a pretty good handler as well!

Change up the rims and tires when you make it through the original ones (tires at least) although I like the original black rims with the red. Not sure if you have leather seats but a custom interior will make it your own and there are lots of options to go that route. Make it through your warranty before you start in on anything else, who knows, you may even love it the way it is...

Welcome from Wisconsin! Sweet GT. The 3.6L is pretty much maxxed from the factory. You can supercharge it, but that comes with some challenges.
You can change the puddle lights, add stripes, there are a bunch of things you can do to make it "your own".

Welcome from mid-Europe. Wishing many happy miles!

Enjoy your GT, as written by all above tuning here is say very questionable (way more possible drawbacks than very little real benefits). Still, the little V6 is great car for daily driving and having fun too; it has nice punch (0-60 figures are in the range from the "old good times") and brings good fuel economy namely for dense traffic driving.

I started with GT AWD and it's true was very lucky to buy 5.7 Shaker later too (mainly did it not to miss the V8 at all in my life). Believe me, we enjoy both cars!

Welcome from Tennessee! Just my .02c. But, don't try to make that beautiful GT something it isn't. The engineers spent many hours and $ designing it. Don't try to outsmart them. It's a fools game. JMHO.
