Hello all,
I recently decided to get my first real muscle car and started the search. I found a low mileage, near mint '09 SRT Challenger in black metallic pearlcoat. I probably shouldn't love a "thing" as much as I do this car, but my god...that is some fine engineering.

I recently stretched her legs a bit with a road trip from Ohio to Colorado. Pikes Peak highway was a blast. Big car, yes, but it handles like a pro. The bond between us was sealed on that trip.

I am an informatics professor at Indiana U, which makes me a computer geek, and not much of a mechanic. I have a lot to learn from you seasoned enthusiasts and so I will respectfully sit back, observe and poke my head up when I have a question. And the moment I can humbly contribute some crumb of wisdom, I will. Until that time comes, thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience with me.

Welcome to the Z from New Mexico! You have found the absolute best spot for a Challenger lover to be except for behind the wheel! Enjoy the ride! These days, cars are just as much computer driven as mechanical. You'll fit right in.
