During the winter months, there are no cruise-in or car shows to go to. Therefore the challenger isn't drive much. Is it a good idea to add anything to the gas?

You wouldn't have a problem with driving it, maybe once a week? You have pretty mild weather I would assume. That would be what I would do because I couldn't stand to leave it sit all winter!

and if that's not an option...even just starting it on a fairly regular basis will eliminate the need to add anything to the fuel. Today's fuels aren't the same as those from yesteryear!

I would guess that Loo-zi-anna is milder than Ohio and you would be able to have the opportunity to get her out on occasion or at least start her up. I put mine under wraps from mid-November to mid-April or early May and I have had no problem with starting. I do fill the tank without adding an additive. I also use a battery tender (real important to me). Enjoy the Journey! Lou.

I've always used Sta-Bil for winter storage, figuring it's a small price to prevent varnish buildup in the fuel system.

The next car show in Bay St. Louis, MS. is in March. The winter in Slidell is pretty much like ours. If you don't intend to drive it use Sta-Bil in the fuel. I try to drive mine at least once a week in the winter.
