Original style hood pins

    my ta came with factory hood pins but they are a lynch pin style like you use on a farm tractor to hold the implements on. Im wanting to change mine to the hairpin style like back in the day. Anyone done this? The lynch pins pull apart and u can remove them from the lanyards. Just curious

    If you do it take pictures. While the lynch pins are more secure than the old style hairpins the new hoods have double latches so the pins are more ornamental anyways.

    You are correct... you need to find them in chrome SS some of the repops from China are not worth the cost of the postage.....
