Was in 15 years, 80-95, Helicopter Crew Chief, my MOS's 6060, 6167 and 6174. Stationed at New River, N.C. on active duty, my units: HMH-461,H&MS-26, HMH-362, HMM-266, HMM-261, in the Reserves stationed in New Orleans Naval Air Station, Units: MAG-46 Bet B, and HML-767. Served in Beirut and Desert Storm and was on 2 Med Cruises , 1 NATO Cruise, 1 Central America deployment. I have been working at Airbus Helicopters (used to be American Eurocopter) for 10 years as a Regional Technical Services Rep. That translates into working out of my house and making my own schedule and being on the road 3 to 5 days a week at times. Semper FI!

To borrow a quote from Clint Eastwood "We sure as hell chewed some of the same dirt". May have worked with some of the same people. Did you go to Afghanistan with HMLA-773? If so do you remember, Msgt Vorhoff and GySgt Fox, or MGysgt Mitchell? Mitchell was the 4th Maw Maintenance Chief.

I know Bobby Vorhoff well. Mitchell was the Maint Chief right before my good friend Ray Trott took over for him. A good friend of mine Tim Conrad says he knows you to. He also is a proud challenger owner.

I went to high school with Bobby V, known him since '78. He is the reason I went into the Reserves when I left active duty in 88. You probably know Mike Blythe also. Bobby V is a lawyer in New Orleans, Mike works for Air Methods in Nashville. I know Tim through Mike Blythe, tell him I said hello, its been a while since I have seen him.
