I'm no expert, but I'll try and answer your questions:

1.) Yes, if you put enough coats on, it comes off easily. I found that 5 coats worked well. Anything more was just a bonus and made it easier to get off.

2.) You are correct, glossifier would work for making them shiny.

3.) I can't answer this because I either masked off thing really well or took the pieces off and sprayed them.

4.) 5 or more coats would be best for longevity. The nice thing about it is that if it gets scuffed or damaged, you just spray over it.

5.) It depends on how many coats you put on. I'd say that if you figure a can per wheel, you'd be pretty close. I got mine on sale at Pepboys (use the discount codes online) and get some extra cans. What you don't use, you can take back (of course they have to be unopened).

6.) Not that I've found out, but I didn't use a glossifier.

7.) No residue. It comes off clean. It's actually just a sheet of rubber. It's pretty neat stuff.

8.) Fuel door was it for me, and our mailbox is as good as new because of the dip. It's plastic that I sanded down and then dipped it. Now it's back to black instead of weathered grey. :)

Here's a good suggestion, that was told to me. Shake the can up well, before using it, then get some hot tap water (don't boil it, just as hot as possible out of your faucet) and then let the can sit in it for 5-10 minutes. Also, keep shaking it up as you use it too. This keeps it mixed.

Plastidip is just liquid rubber (basically) and the hot water helps to make it flow better.

When you're done spraying, turn the can upside down and spray the paint out of the nozzle. This is important because if you don't get the paint out of the nozzle, the next time you use it, you'll get splatter and possibly just create more work for yourself by having to go over it again.

Good Luck!

By the way, they don't answer questions there too well, but there is a pretty good plastidip forum on the web that has a decent following of people that can do some pretty wild stuff with dip. If you google it, it'll probably come up. I'd give you a link, but it would probably get blocked by the forum. I don't want to get into trouble for doing it.
Great job my friend. If that doesn't help I don't know what to tell you. Good luck my friend with your dipping
