Just wanted to share the joy!

Before: 341 RWHP @ 5200 RPM, 362 lb ft @ 4300.
After: 448+ RWHP @ 5993+ RPM, 416 lb ft @ 5300.

All the work was done at the ATI ProCharger factory to beta-test their soon-to-be-released compete kit for the 6-speed 2011 Challenger R/T.

Very cool man, congrats! How do you like it? Is the power linear as you increase with RPM's or noticeable right off the line? Is that their factory tune?

I love it. Lots of fun on the trip back from K.C. on Saturday! Power delivery seems pretty smooth and strong to me but, I'm not an expert by any means. I thought I'd post the 'before' dyno run for comparison but, turns out I left it at home today.

As for the tune, when I asked why they're only now getting around to making kits for the 2011-2014 cars, it's because the new-for-2011 ECM had to be reverse-engineered. Once that was accomplished, they started the beta program. My installation included the tune and a DiabloSport unit.

Congrats on your Procharger install and new found power, was that the standard Procharger tune that you have now?

See my earlier reply, posted just before yours. The ProCharger tune for the 2011-2014 ECM is fairly new and they're just now finishing development on their complete kits. That's all I know.

This "tune" stuff is a new trick for this old dog! :4-dontknow:

I'm guessing it's the stock Procharger tune. Generally you can take your car to a dyno shop or do an email tune and get a custom tune that will pick up a little more power. They generally give you conservative tunes just to be on the safe side, but there is usually more power available with a little tuning.

I would be very happy with those numbers though as is, I'm sure it's a blast to drive now! I'd love to do something like that in the future. Glad it all worked out for you and you're happy with it!

Oh I see, I forgot that 2011's and newer were tied into to that black box, I was lucky not having to deal with that being my car is a 2010 and can be remotely tuned. Procharger is a great choice and delivers great high RPM HP. Im sure at some point the tuning will have more options, good luck and enjoy.

Congrats on you ProCharger install. I've had mine since the end of Sept., and still learning to respect my R/Ts new found power.

Thanks for all the kind words. It really is a whole 'nuther level of fun.

For some reason, the Flickr images in my original post aren't showing up anymore. So, here they are from my album on the 'Z':

Thanks, Carl. You may be right about the master cylinder cover.

I do think it's pretty neat how this seems to make the driver's-side hood vent more functional than before.

The other Prochargers I've seen on Challengers seem to have the air filter further away from the firewall and angled up slightly. Yours is the first I've seen with the filter set up like that.

I know if you remove the lower radiator baffle on the driver's side in the lower grill and then remove the master cylinder cover it will allow cool air to rush through the engine bay. They did some testing on this on the LX forums that I read about. Some guys stuck thermometers under the hood and it did drop the temps a little. But I doubt it would make any noticeable difference if you've already got around 500rwhp haha!

How does the boost come on with the Procharger? I know centri's and twin screws function and feel different, at least from what I've read. I think the centri's like the Procharger build boost as RPM's increase right?

Yes, I'd seen photos of their '08-'10 installations and was surprised to see the change. He said they did this to avoid chopping up the engine cover so much. (Maybe something different about the '11-'14? I don't know.)

Thanks, that's good to know. I'll have to look at that. But, yeah, it has plenty of power as it sits... for now, anyway.

That's right. You can see the boost curve at the bottom of the dyno printout attached to the original post.
