Great news! I contacted the Chrysler Customer Service and they told me two things. First my R/T has a recall for the air bag. Second, and much more important, my car is one of only 10 built to the same specs. I asked them how many were built in '10 as an R/T, 6-speed, HEMI Orange, and both the interior and exterior appearance package. I'm not sure if they broke it down further or if they just stuck to my question but only 10 built!

Also, I know I have heard that you may only be able to go back 5 years for a replacement window sticker. However, today Courtesy Dodge in Tampa called to tell me they were successful in getting a replacement! $35 but well worth the price. Can't wait to know what my car stickered for!

Found out this rep gets his challengers and chargers mixed up. Just got a call from a different Rep from Chrysler stating the above info was incorrect. I was informed that only 9 have the same build as mine. Needless to say I'm ecstatic. I'm hoping to get something in writing.

I'm going to go out on a limb here. There is good news and bad news.

Bad news is FCA is wrong on their quote to you. The good news is you are 1-of-2 assuming your VIN8 ends in FHxx3828. FCA's tool is FLAWED and can only give production quotes on PURCHASED OPTIONS for USA sold vehicles. Since you did not have the purchased Sun Roof option they included hard tops and sun roofs TOGETHER in their total. Yikes!

The "twin" shipped to Kentucky and matches down to the 275/40ZR20 All Season Perf Tires.

Here's the response I got when I wrote Dodge assistance a few months back:


Thank you for contacting the Dodge Customer Assistance Center.
According to our records, there were 1,151 Dodge Challenger SRT8 CORE
units built for the 2014 model year. Of those vehicles, 77 units were
also built in TorRed paint and equipped with a 5-Speed Auto W5A580
Transmission.

I have since seen the numbers for the breakdown for sunroof and hardtop for my color and that would get me down to only 52 built like mine. I think if you get real specific wanting to know the production numbers by color and options some of these will come down to some very low numbers.

The lowest I've seen is one of one, that car is a 2014 SRT Redline manual hardtop, there was only one built that way. Not sure that it really makes it worth anymore but still it would be pretty cool to know you have the only one out there like it.

Here is the correct USA shipped chart for the 2014 SRT8 COREs. The other chart someone posted is CANADA only.

Hey thanks so much for the additional info your a champion. I knew I should have tagged on the heater block . He he he . While I didn't set out to make a low number car it was in the back of my mind . I don't think it will make stuff all difference in thirty years when my son sells the car but it is a bit of fun . ps . A part me was a little disappointed when I found out it was 1 in 4 ( I know that sounds dumb ) as I knew there was a chance it could very low , if not one of one . It's kind of cool it does have a twin out there .

Customer assistance got back to me & told me exactly what my Challenger RT Plus has on it.
Only 2 made with my 2014 package... Collector's baby.. LoL The price just became non - negotiable if I were selling it with 4,000 miles on it & car show ready. I'm putting my letter with the unopened vehicle manual & original factory worksheets from Canada that came w/the Challenger. Money!
