I am planning to pull the #2 fuse for the first time since I bought my Challenger nearly a year ago. My question is, does the ignition need to be in the on position, or can I do it "cold" and just pop the hood and pull the fuse without engaging the ignition?

I've done it a couple of times and can't say that I noticed any difference. Maybe I'll try it again just for the hell of it.:4-dontknow:

Some see a diff and some don't. I've driven mine hard since new so it learned my driving standards.

I've done it once and I guess it's kind of bad news that I did definitely notice a difference...tells me I've been doing too much granny driving!

It makes a huge difference in mine. If you have a tuner you can also reset the transmission adapts. The problem is it only last a few days for me, I guess I drive like an old man too much.
